Multi Sensors
AVA detectors not only provide very early warning smoke detection, but can also offer additional information about the air samples — such as temperature, humidity, and specific gas concentrations like carbon monoxide — through optional sensor modules.
Addressable
The AVA CSD series is specifically designed for detecting smoke within individual cabinets or small rooms. When an AVA CSD system enters alarm mode, users can easily pinpoint the fire’s location. This solves a common limitation of typical aspirating detection systems, which often provide only large-area warnings without the ability to accurately identify the exact source of the fire.
Very Early Warning
When ASD was first introduced in the 1980s, xenon lamps were used as the light source. Their bright, full-spectrum output enabled very high-sensitivity smoke detection.
Aspirating Detection
Air samples and aerosols are drawn through a sampling pipe network with air sampling holes and carried to one or more smoke sensing elements by an integral aspirator. The air sampling pipes and holes are installed to where the smoke might appear when there is a fire.
